2019 National Conference on Evangelization and Catechesis

From the Episcopal Commission for Evangelization and Catechesis

The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops, through the Episcopal Commission for Evangelization and Catechesis, is hosting the 2019 National Conference on Evangelization and Catechesis on 4-6 April 2019, at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel – Ottawa Airport. The theme of the conference, He Thirsts for You, is inspired by John 4: 4-26 – The Woman at the Well.

Highlights of the Conference include an opening play, He Thirsts for You, written and performed by Catholic playwright Elisa Lollino, as well as the following keynote speakers: the Most Reverend William McGrattan, Father Ron Rolheiser, O.M.I., and Dr. Josephine Lombardi. Additionally, each participant will have the opportunity to choose four workshops on a variety of topics related to evangelization and catechesis. Simultaneous interpretation from English to French will be available during all keynote speeches.

For more information, please consult the conference flyer and the workshop descriptions. To register, you can download the registration form and mail it in. For those who would prefer to register online, we have also prepared a link to EventBrite which allows for payment by credit card. (Link)

We hope that you will plan to attend this conference and that you will promote it within your dioceses/eparchies, Catholic school boards and Catholic organizations. Please encourage your colleagues and friends to participate.
