Science and Catholic Faith

From Marg Shea-Lawrence (Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops)

The CCCB, through its Episcopal Commission for Doctrine, has published the document Science and Catholic Faith.  Many people, especially youth, ask, ‘Are science and Catholic faith compatible?’.  This booklet introduces young people to the complementarity between science and Catholic faith.  It includes beautiful and insightful posters illustrating the coherence of faith and reason, as well as prompts for educators to use with students to extend learning.

While this booklet will be most beneficial for young people, it is also a helpful resource for catechists who are looking for guidance on how to discuss these same questions.

Copies may be ordered by telephone (1-800-769-1147), email (publi@cccb.ca), and online using the links below.

Price: $2.00 ( $1.80 for orders of 100 or more)
