spring beauty pushing forth from leaf litter, opening to a white-and-pink prayer,
trout lily ringing in yellow Alleluia bells, bloodroot proclaiming God’s glory,
trillium theologian expounding on the nature of God,
raindrops blessing the spring promises,
swelling maple buds testifying to hope,
sun’s warmth reminding us of grace.
