CARFLEO RETREAT 2020
Praying in, with and for Creation: A spiritual integration of Laudato Si
APRIL 2-3, 2020
Queen of the Apostles Renewal Centre, Mississauga, Ontario
1617 Blythe Road, Mississauga, ON L5H 2C3 (905) 278-5229
IS THE RETREAT FOR ME? If you have a strong commitment to Catholic education and want to deepen your personal connection with contemporary issues in Religious and Family Life education, then this retreat is for you!
WHAT CAN I EXPECT? Last year’s CARFLEO conference focused on Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si which concludes with a chapter on ‘Ecological Education and Spirituality’. This year’s retreat, led by Sisters Mary Rowell and Linda Gregg of the Villa St. Joseph Ecology and Spirituality Centre, will lead a spiritual integration to deepen our understanding and move us to an ecological conversion. How do we move from head to heart to action? How can we internalize Pope Francis’ call to recognize that “Nothing in this world is indifferent to us?” Let us join together in prayer and reflection on how Religious and Family Life education can foster a move towards an integral ecology.
CARFLEO retreats provide:
- Spiritual renewal
- Opportunities for prayer and reflection
- Excellent retreat directors
- Provocative discussions
- Current information for educators
- Great food and conversation
- Networking
- Displays
