The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops – Canada Rabbinic Caucus Dialogue is hosting a public event in Toronto the evening of Tuesday May 8th at 7:30 p.m. The event is being held at the Beth Tzedec Congregation – 1700 Bathurst Street.
At the event, guests are invited to watch a screening of a movie entitled, “Divided We Fall”, a story about a Czech Catholic couple who saved a Jewish man during the Holocaust. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAYjBHUIS7A
Two representatives of the dialogue (Jewish and Catholic) will provide a response / reflection to the movie following the screening. Guests will also be invited to pose a few questions / comments afterwards as well.
This event is a demonstration of Catholic – Jewish dialogue through the medium of art.
