When Faith Meets Pedagogy 2017 will be held on October 26-28 at the Delta by Marriott Toronto Airport 655 Dixon Rd, Etobicoke. Over 1500 students are expected to attend the Youth Forum on Thursday, October 26 and over 1000 delegates for the duration of the conference.

The free iBook, Inuksuk: Sharing Experiences of Nunavut will be presented. Interactive elements include video clips, panoramic and 3D images, sound bites of the Inuktitut language and syllabic script, and quizzes to engage student inquiry. The respectful dialogue and partnership between northern and southern communities documented here signals an act of reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous learners. It is a powerful tool for raising awareness about Inuit culture and Canada`s most northerly communities to spark the interest and respect of all readers, from K-12 students to their teachers.

As we move into the next part of our Catholic Education journey, CARFLEO (The Catholic Association of Religious and Family Life Educators of Ontario) is dedicated to providing Catholic educators with practical resources that will bring classroom success. This workshop explores tools that teachers can use to create engaging and spiritually nourishing lessons. We look at curated resource centres, virtual field trips, student presentation tools, lesson ideas and other provisions that a 21st Century digital backpacker needs.
