A new pastoral resource entitled The Second Vatican Council: What was it and why is it important today?, issued by the Commission for Doctrine of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB), is now available in print from CCCB Publications. The document was earlier issued online during October 2012, as part of the many celebrations surrounding the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council. Parishes and schools have asked for a printed version. Until now, the resource has been only available on the CCCB website. Printed copies can be purchased in packages of 10 by calling 1-800-769-1147 or emailing publi@cccb.ca.
