Storytelling

Jesus used stories as part of his Ministry. It is a method that is a special part of Religious Education and Family Life Education. Here are four resources that can help us become better storytellers and help our students tell stories.

There’s a more scholarly piece on Narrative Theology as it pertains to teaching Religious Education in high schools at http://ejournals.bc.edu/ojs/index.php/catholic/article/download/591/580 It is called “Narrative Theology in the High School Classroom: Teaching Theology Through Literature” by Louis A. Delfra C.S.C. It appeared in Catholic Education: A Journal of Inquiry and Practice. He outlines an interesting Religious Education/English course in the Appendix of the article.
