New Evangelization and Communications

The Association of Roman Catholic Communicators of Canada (ARCCC) and the Quebec Catholic organization Communications et Société are holding,a national bilingual conference on New Evangelization and Communications in Montreal, May 8 to 10, 2013. In light of the recent Synod of Bishops on The New Evangelization for the Transmission of the Christian Faith, the main speakers will include two of the four delegates of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) to the October 2012 Synod: the Most Reverend Brian Dunn, Bishop of Antigonish, and the Most Reverend François Lapierre, P.M.É., Bishop of Saint-Hyacinthe. The Most Reverend Paul-André Durocher, Archbishop of Gatineau and Vice President of the CCCB, will give the opening address. Archbishop Durocher is Chair of the CCCB Standing Committee for Communications. The conference, for registered participants only, will be the first national bilingual meeting of Canadian English and French-speaking Catholic communicators.
